Counseling
Counseling
There are times in life when the problems seem too much for us to handle on our own; at those times, we may benefit through the guidance and support of a professional counselor. For members of the congregation, attendees and friends of Memorial Park, confidential appointments may be scheduled with Counselor Joyce Ruzanic. Call the church office at 412-364-9492. Policy and fees are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
will meet on Tuesday, September 21, 6:30–8:00 P.M. for six weeks. Anyone touched by this disease is welcome as we come along side those suffering with cancer and help caregivers and friends provide comfort. This will be a special spiritual time of prayer and exchange of shared experiences.
DEPRESSION SUPPORT GROUP, will be facilitated by Pastor Kevin Gourley and Licensed Counselor Joyce Ruzanic. Depression is a serious illness which affects 9.9 million Americans every year. There is time for sharing, praying and educating about this misunderstood illness.
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP, will be led by Pastor Kevin Gourley and Deacons Margie Mihalic and Andy Rogers. Grief comes in many types with the loss of a child, loss or parents, loss of a spouse, sudden death, victim of cancer or terminal illness. Experience support, prayer and sensitivity to your grief.
Call the church at 412-364-9492 or Joyce Ruzanic at the counselor’s office at 412-364-5322 for further information on these groups.
