Men's Ministries

Joshua League

The Joshua League is Memorial Park Church's Men's Ministries group. We welcome and encourage men of all ages to connect with one another and Christ. We seek to become God-honoring men, not just in church, but in our homes, workplace, and community. We offer a wide range of activities designed to bring men together, from classes and bible studies, sports outings and a softball league, to prayer groups and monthly breakfasts.

For general questions about the Men's LIFE Groups & Teaching, or Men's Prayer Team, contact Corky Semler.

For general questions about the Saturday Morning Breakfasts, Interest Group Division, or Service & Volunteering, contact Dave Daniel.
Jesus trained disciples in two environments: a small group of 12 and larger groups that were open to any one. We have both small and large group classes available as part of our LIFE Group/Teaching Division. They are a great place to learn, get connected, and develop friendships here at Memorial Park. Teams meet regularly and "do life together" as they:
  • study the Bible together;
  • pray for one another;
  • offer mutual encouragement;
  • do an occassional service project together;
  • care for teammates and their households when members are in the hospital or grieving a loss;
  • eat together occasionally with spouses or guests;
  • encourage the children of fellow teammates;
  • enjoy occasional fun outings like a movie night or a sporting event;
  • and more!
For more information or to get involved, contact Geoff Holmes or Kevin Steele (small groups); or John Christopher or Rick Corliss (large groups).

Saturday Morning Men's Breakfast

Calling all MPC men! On Saturday, November 17 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. in Westminster Hall, we have our FREE monthly breakfast! This month, we welcome Jay Roy, retired President and CEO of Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. Jay has been a member of MPC since the early 80s, serving as an elder, teacher, and occasional preacher. He will be speaking on the “Storms of Life.”  Join us as we share a good meal, fellowship with other men of the church, and a thoughtful message, followed by small group discussion. Please bring friends, co-workers, or neighbors for a stress-free time of fun and encouragement. Let us know you're coming!
