2012 MPC International Mission Trips
The Missions and Outreach Ministry of MPC is planning five International Mission Trips in 2012. If you are interested in a particular trip, please fill out the tear-off below and place it in the offering plate or bring it to the church office. You can also call Don Creasy or the specific trip team leader.

  • Haiti – This team has already been selected. MPC and North Park EPC are partnering to serve with mission partner Ministries in Action. The team will use $8000 that MPC collected for earthquake relief in January 2010 to build a home for a Christ-centered family in Haiti. The dates for this trip are April 28-May 5.
  • Argentina – Lauren Skurcenski will be leading a team from May 20-27 to Buenos Aires, Argentina. This team is primarily for college age folks. They will be serving with our Mission Partners Kyle and Claudia Zimmerman at LaMision.
  • Mexico – Women’s Ministries will serve at Camp Kikomar with mission partners Diana Garrett and Mirna Sotomayor. The dates for this trip are June 18-24.
  • Mexico – Our MPC 11th and 12th grade students, led by Bob Broms and Paul Wain, will serve at Camp Kikomar with mission partners Diana Garrett and Mirna Sotomayor. The dates for this trip are July 21-28.
  • Mexico – This team will be serving with mission partner Dr. Luis Hurtado who is living among the Pame people. His clinic and church are located about 5 hours north of Mexico City. The team will consist of members from MPC, The Open Door Church in Garfield and Pastor Arturo Velasco’s Lion of Judah Church located in Mexico City. Don Creasy and Rev. Kevin Gourley will lead this trip. We will be helping to complete the clinic, building a prototype garden that will teach the Pame people how to increase crop production as well as relationship building and prayer walking. The dates for this trip are August 11-18.
