Rev. Dr. Kevin A. Gourley
Pastor of Congregational Care
It has been my honor and privilege to serve Memorial Park for over 26 years. MPC has been my wife Betsy's true home since1965! This position fits me like a glove! I love working with a team of Christian leaders strong in their gifting and vulnerable in their self-awareness. My primary passion is to simply be a Pastor/Shepherd to this great congregation. I have various responsibilities in the areas of prayer, visitation, counseling, and working with the Deacons. I also have the joy of teaching, preaching, presiding over funerals, baptisms, etc. In this setting I have grown tremendously in my faith, seen my family love and serve the Lord, and found lifelong friends. Both of my sons, John Hunter and Evan grew up at MPC and were discipled in their faith through our dynamic youth ministry. I can't think of a better place to call home!
Pastor Kevin is a graduate of Furman University with a BA in History; Columbia Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity; and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care.
