Support and Counseling

Counseling

Counseling
There are times in life when the problems seem too much for us to handle on our own; at those times, we may benefit through the guidance and support of a professional counselor. For members of the congregation, attendees and friends of Memorial Park, confidential appointments may be scheduled with Counselor Joyce Ruzanic. Call the church office at 412-364-9492. Policy and fees are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Support
The mission of Memorial Park Church is to ...
[become] a community of friendship and mutual support

Care Committee
The Deacons Care Committee helps to provide rides to church, meals for church families during difficult times, and financial assistance to church families experiencing crisis.

Grief Support
A Grief Support seminar is offered each year for those suffering from loss, whether recently or in years past. Pastor Kevin Gourley and Counselor Joyce Ruzanic are also available for grief counseling.

Helping Hands
A crew of men volunteer their time and talents to perform minor home repairs for single moms and older adults in our congregation. Contact us if you wish to offer your services or if you have a need.

Special Friends
Special Friends is a ministry that provides fellowship and social activities for the disabled. It meets on the second Tuesday of the month (except during the summer) at 7:15 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
