Older four-year-olds and five-year-olds are able to enroll in the transitional (pre-K) classes. Responsibility for one’s self and actions are highlighted. The foundational skills in former classes are built upon to ready children for further schooling. This is a time for fine tuning abilities and exploring a variety of creative ways to learn. A highly interactive learning center approach provides a model for learning and choosing. Morning Program:
The morning transitional class meets from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The staff/child ratio is 1 to 8.
Afternoon Program:
The afternoon transitional class meets from 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The staff/child ratio is 1 to 8. |
