FAST FOR LEONE - April 7 & 8
Raising money to fight poverty and spiritual darkness in Sierra Leone through education and community

Our participating high school students are collecting sponsors for their 25 hour FAST, while bringing awareness to the work of our mission partner, Edunations, in the country of Sierra Leone, West Africa.  Edunations creates schools that become self-supporting beacons of growth and learning.  To learn more, visit their website

The funds raised during the FAST will help with school supplies, teacher salaries and meals for students.

If you would like to support this project, you can send a check payable to Memorial Park Church with "FAST FOR LEONE" in the memo line or you can pay online here.

High School IMPACT "Night on the Town"
Saturday, May 20

Students completing grades 9 -12 are invited to join us for this annual end of the year celebration.  We meet at the Clayton Center and travel by school bus down to Station Square to walk around, take the incline to Mt. Washington overlook and dinner at Buca di Beppo.  Cost is TBD (usually around $25).  Watch for sign ups and details.

All current students in grades 6 - 8.  Friends welcome!

Surf City is a week-long, high-energy camping experience at Grace Adventures Camp in Mears, Michigan. Each summer, Surf City offers 1,000 middle school students the opportunity to make new friends, swim, wave run, tube, climb sand dunes, enjoy a really big lake, and most importantly, examine faith in Jesus Christ. Thousands of kids from across the country have experienced the most significant week of their lives at Surf City.

Surf City is presented by the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation, the same sponsors of our fall retreats. For more information about the PKF and Surf City, visit their website
