Weddings & Baptisms

Congratulations! We are excited for you as you begin this journey together, and that you are considering a wedding at Memorial Park Church!

Memorial Park Church believes in the sanctity of marriage according to Mark 10:6-9:

"But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So, they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate."

Weddings at Memorial Park are joyous occasions and a celebration of Christ's love for His bride, the Church. Just as Christ loves the Church, so you, the bride and groom, have been called to love one another "because He first loves us" (1 John 4:19). Your wedding is therefore a worship service because it is a response to God's call to live together, one man and one woman, for a lifetime. Our hope is that all who attend are drawn into the presence of Christ by witnessing your love and commitment to one another.

We are here to help you plan not only your wedding day, but to also walk with you from that day forward in your spiritual journey together. We know that your wedding will be a beautiful and holy occasion that brings God all the glory. Interested couples should contact the Wedding Coordinator to inquire about weddings at Memorial Park Church and to schedule your initial meeting with one of our pastors.

Infant Baptisms

Infant baptisms are an important milestone for you and your family. We look forward to sharing in this special day with you as a community of faith! Our approach to baptism will provide you the opportunity to become acquainted with other families and children who will grow up with your child in the nursery, Tru Kids, Summer Surge, and beyond.

Baptisms at Memorial Park Church are celebrated three times a year and include a baptism class for all participating families. Our baptism class is taught by the Memorial Park Pastoral Team and is designed to give you a clear, biblical understanding of baptism. The Children’s Ministries Team will provide you with resources that will guide you as you introduce your child to God, their Creator and loving Heavenly Father.

Baptisms are performed at the 9:15 AM service on select Sunday mornings. After the service, the Memorial Park family will come together at a celebratory reception in the Café.
