SUMMER STUDIES
Stay connected this summer with other Christian women and join us for one of the two studies below.
“Experiencing the Cross” by Henry Blackaby – Led by Margy Delposen
Study will meet at MPC in the Parlor from 9:15 – 11:15am and will be held on these Wednesdays:
June 10 & 17; July 1, 22 & 29; August 5 & 12
**Childcare is provided – advance registration is required
“When Mothers Pray” by Cheri Fuller – Led by Ann Thompson
Study will meet at MPC in the Parlor from 7 – 9pm and will be held on these Mondays:June 15, 22 & 29; July 6, 13, 20 & 27; August 3

MUG & MUFFINS
This group will begin another Beth Moore study starting September 12, 2009 to continue through May 2010, meeting the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month.  Meetings will be held at the home of Mary Robinette at 9:15am.

TUESDAY MORNING STUDY
The Beth Moore study of “Esther” will be taught by Margy Delposen starting Tuesday, September 8, 2009.  This group will meet every Tuesday September 2009 – May 2010 from 9:15 – 11:15am in the Parlor. 

WOMEN TO WOMEN
This is a weekly gathering of women who come together for fellowship, worship and Bible study.  Our studies will resume on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 to continue through May 2010.  The following classes will be offered during our Fall session (September – December 2009):

• “Anointed, Transformed & Redeemed” Beth Moore study – Led by Linda Zimmerman and Gayle Forsythe
• “Holy Spirit” – Taught by Pastors Dean Weaver and Kevin Gourley
• The topic of “Practical Christian Living” – Led by Women’s Ministries Team of Ann Thompson, Heather Little and Jenny Wolff
  **Childcare is provided.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON STUDY
Join Ann Thompson and Lisa Cosentino on Wednesday afternoons at 1pm as they teach about the book of the Bible, “Song of Songs.”  This study starts on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 and goes through December.

WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING
We will begin to meet on an every-other-month basis starting with our Kick-off meeting on Monday, August 17th with details to follow.  Please mark your calendars for these 2009 – 2010 meeting dates: Oct. 19, Dec. 21, Feb. 15, Apr. 19 and June 21.

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL
This year, we want to prepare an Advent Devotional for the women of MPC by the women of MPC to focus our hearts and minds on the Gift which the Father has given us and our response to His Gift.  We invite all women to submit a devotional before the end of September.  In addition, your participation in a writing workshop to coordinate form and daily subject guide for the devotional booklet is appreciated.  Date for the workshop TBA.     

ONE DAY WOMEN’S RETREAT
Save the date for Saturday, February 6, 2010 for an in-house women’s retreat.  This day will include a guest speaker and a variety of workshops in which to learn, be encouraged and have fun.  Watch the website for more information.
