Mission trips and service projects are great ways to grow in your faith while serving to further God's kingdom. Stretching and reaching beyond your comfort zone to help the needy and hurting in our community and our world can be a life-changing and everlasting experience. Our local outreach involvement is with Presents for Patients through the Giving Tree @ MPC, North Hills Community Outreach Food Bank, Compassion Day, World Vision, and The Pittsburgh Project. Extending beyond our community, we hold a shoe cutting event for Sole Hope, contribute shoes to Soles for Jesus, and raise funds for the children of Sierra Leone through Fast for Leone.
In the summer of 2019, we will send a team to the Wilmington, North Carolina area to serve with Praying Pelican Missions as they work to restore the areas that were damaged by Hurrican Florence. The dates of the trip are Saturday, July 13 - Saturday, July 20 and the cost per student will be approximately $550 - $600. We will provide group fundraising opportunities to assist with the cost and provide information for an individual fundraising opportunity. Spots are filled at this time
