ESME TEEL

Esmé and her husband, Barry, joined the MPC family from the Tennessee/Alabama areas. Esmé graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 2021 and served as Pastoral Resident at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church in Tennessee where her responsibilities there, along with her career path prior to seminary, provided the experience necessary to support her work in pastoral care and pastoral counseling here at Memorial Park.  

As our new Pastor of Congregational Care, Esmé will act as a connection point for our care ministries throughout our church, including bridging our in-person and online experiences. Esmé is a compassionate, thoughtful, and grace-filled person and pastor who is truly spirit-filled in nature. Her strong faith and love of the Bible will bring a wonderful perspective to our pastoral staff.  She is an animal lover and enjoys gardening, running, hiking, photography and visiting her adult sons.
