Sunday services offer a blend of contemporary styles and music, as well as organ and choir Hymns. The 9:00AM service offers more contemporary music, while the 11:15AM service offers more Hymns and liturgy. There is truly something for everyone at Memorial Park Church!

A place for every gift
Our goal is to build a worship ministry that is spiritually healthy, musically prepared, relationally connected, and united around helping the congregation worship. Whether you sing, play, lead, create, or serve behind the scenes, there is a meaningful place for you.
Serve approximately once every six weeks. Regular participation keeps us connected to the vision and helps us grow as a band -
building trust, camaraderie, musical confidence, and the ability to play together as one team.
Come prepared, communicate clearly, and engage fully in the scheduled rehearsal and Sunday service.

Participate as your ministry schedule allows, using the published list of singing dates. Consistency helps every singer grow and helps the choir become a stronger, more unified ensemble.
To sing on a Sunday, attend choir rehearsals and the Wednesday rehearsal during the week before that service. Christmas music will also be prepared on Wednesday nights; more details are coming.

The orchestra will be featured on one Sunday this fall, with the primary focus on Advent and Christmas. As the program becomes more organized, orchestra opportunities will continue to grow.
Worship nights also offer additional ways for musicians and singers to serve, collaborate, and help create meaningful moments of worship beyond Sunday morning.

capabilities of the sanctuary - sound, lights, cameras, slides,
staging, and smooth transitions.

Suggested rhythm: serve once every 6-8 weeks. On your scheduled Sunday, arrive for the morning rehearsal so you can run the songs, transitions, and cues with the team.

Baptisms
Infant Baptisms
We are delighted that you have chosen to have your child baptized at Memorial Park Church. Infant baptism is about welcoming your child into the family of God here at MPC and celebrating with you. Our hope and intention is that parents will raise their children in our fellowship so that we can come alongside you and your family to support the growth of your child's faith. Infant baptism can occur at any time during the year during one of our worship services. At least one parent must be a member of Memorial Park Church. We are excited to share in this important milestone as a community of faith.

- Baptism candidates must be a member of Memorial Park Church, or for infant baptisms, at least one parent must be a member of Memorial Park Church.
- As part of our baptism process, baptism candidates or parents of the child being baptized will participate in a Baptism teaching during a meeting with one of our pastors.
Adult Baptisms
Baptism, whenever it happens, is at the heart of an amazing journey of faith as a Christ-follower. You are never too old to take this step. Being baptized as an adult is a wonderful experience!
You may have been baptized as a child or in a different Christian tradition, and there are always special ways to renew the promises that were made then in a new way as you discover more about what it means to live as a child of God and a believer in Jesus Christ. We do not re-baptize individuals, but we do offer baptism remembrances/affirmations. If you are looking for information on baptism remembrance options, contact us here.
Baptisms are a symbolic act that represents what has already happened internally in the life of a believer. We encourage you to consider where you are in your faith journey and whether being baptized as an adult is right for you.

What about after Baptism? If you've already been baptized and made a profession of faith, then what? Maybe it's time to get plugged in and even become a member at MPC. We offer a two hour class every few months called Discover MPC. Whether you're interested in becoming a member or just learning more about Memorial Park Church, this is a great place to start. This is a no pressure, small group setting where you can get answers to all of your questions and learn more about Memorial Park Church! Our next class is Wednesday, October 21st from 6:30-8:30PM! Childcare is covered through our regular Wednesday night programing for children of all ages, at the same time!
