Lenten Offering

Each year, we take up a Lenten collection that benefits one of our outreach or mission partners. This year, we are raising funds to support Promise Camp, an initiative of Family Guidance. Family Guidance has been a part of ministry in Pittsburgh since 1964. For 57 years, Family Guidance has been steadfast in their mission of transforming the lives of youth in historically underserved neighborhoods through intentional relationships and the promise of Jesus Christ.

At Promise Camp, we offer life-changing, week-long summer camp experiences for over 400 children each year. Promise Camp proclaims the gospel with a strong relational focus and intentionally low staff to camper ratios of 3:1. They develop meaningful relationships with campers and demonstrate God’s unconditional love and acceptance.

This year, they need your help to offer full scholarships for those 400 children! The cost of attending Promise Camp for one week is $750, but Family Guidance only asks for a $30 contribution per family.

Your contribution to our Lenten Offering will make promise camp a reality for a child in our community. Thank you for your support of these children—right in our Pittsburgh neighborhoods—who need Jesus in their lives. You are a blessing.
