Programs on Sundays

Our TRU Kids Comfort Room is available for parents and children at both Sunday services. The Comfort Room is ideal for parents who wish to stay with their children and watch the worship service on a video monitor. Childcare for infants up to 24 months old is available in the Children's Ministry wing during both Sunday services. The Nursery is staffed by professionally trained adults who lovingly care for God’s children. For children ages 2-K, we offer childcare in the Children's Ministry wing where TRU Kids lesson are presented during the service.
TRU Kids for children in grades 1-5 offers an opportunity for families to worship together at the beginning of the 9:00 AM Sunday service. Kids are dismissed before the message for age-appropriate worship and teaching in the Children’s Wing. Find out more about our programs for kids on the Children's Ministry page.

We will have no Discipleship Hour programming on Sunday, April 9
Teens are encouraged to worship with their parents at all weekend services. During Discipleship Hour from 10:10-11:00 AM on Sunday mornings, teens have an opportunity to engage in Student IMPACT. These regular weekly meetings are designed to support students as they journey through life during the challenging years of middle school and high school. Find out more about our programs for teens on the Student IMPACT page.

We will have no Discipleship Hour programming on Sunday, April 9.
During our designated Discipleship Hour between the Sunday morning services, we offer a number of Adult Classes to engage you in an intentional discipleship ministry that is both inwardly strong and outwardly focused, moving them to greater maturity in their relationship with Christ. Our purpose is to seek together how we can live out our Christian faith more practically. The goal is not just to inform our minds but to transform our hearts, so that we can look more like Jesus in our thinking, acting and feeling. We offer a new selection of Adult Classes throughout the year in six sessions. Find out more about class offerings on the Adult Classes page.

We will have no Discipleship Hour programming on Sunday, April 9
Before and between services, our Cafés are generally open and serving light refreshments. On Saturday evenings, visit the Clayton Center Café for a beverage or some light snacks. Coffee and tea are available Sunday mornings at the Café next to the Sanctuary.

The Café is staffed by a team of volunteers from Memorial Park and are organized by the Memorial Park Deacons. If you have questions about Memorial Park or would like more information, the Café is a great place to start.

Over 22 years ago, Jen and Ken Krieger from Buffalo, New York, adopted a little girl named Mariatu from Sierra Leone. She was 7 years old and weighed only 38 pounds! In that same spirit of love, the Meals for Mariatu Campaign was founded. Our 2023 Lenten Offering, which goes to the Meals for Mariatu campaign, gives us the opportunity to help feed 358 EduNations High School boarding students in Rokassa that come from 6 rural villages in Sierra Leone. That's 1,074 meals per day! This will help break the cycle of poverty that can last generations. You can donate by check, designating the Lenten offering in the memo line, or online and through the mobile app, selecting Lenten offering in the dropdown. Thank you for your generosity!

Lenten Devotional

Each year, MPC puts together a Lenten Devotional for the Easter season. This is our gift to you! Wishing you a happy and healthy Easter season and we hope to see you soon!

Holy Week Prayer Vigil

Prayer matters! During Holy Week, we will be holding a 24/7 prayer vigil starting at midnight on Monday, April 3 and running through 7:00 AM on Sunday, April 9. Will you join us in prayer by signing up for a one-hour time slot? If all the available slots are filled, you can still pray with us!  A prayer guide will be provided to help guide you. Let's come together to show how powerful prayer is!
