What Real Love Looks Like

First Corinthians 13 is far more than a wedding reading. Paul places love at the center of a larger conversation about spiritual gifts, arguing that without love, even the most impressive abilities amount to nothing. He defines love not as a feeling but as a daily set of decisions: patience, kindness, humility, and endurance. Love never ends, and from the day we are born to the day we die, it remains the greatest work of our lives. Jesus is the clearest picture of what this love looks like in action. He bore all things, believed in the redemption of people even when they rejected Him, and His love did not fail even at the grave. Whatever gifts or abilities we have, love is what gives them meaning and makes them last.
